5 Ways Alcohol is MORE Dangerous than Marijuana!

Ever since Reefer Madness, myths and rumors about the negative health effects of marijuana have crowded out actual scientific evidence about pot. But new …

  1. Because Pot users have traditionally always REALLY cared about health and side effects in the past ha… ha… ha.

Its all BS. …….I mean really fuck jobs, if Alcohol is the poison and devil of our nations health, and pot is the healthy, non risk alternative to it,, then why are you lot not out rigorously protesting the over all acceptance of Alcohol ?? LOL Simples…. You really dont care about health at all 🙂

The reality is,, you want (both.) LOL Alcohol is simply not enough to provide you with the desired fix… You need something (different) to mix things up. Yes,, not ALL of you are like this….. But fact is, most of you are lol. You want to legalize something you want, ignoring any consequences that go with it, and you will use any Trojan horse printed propaganda you can get your hands on to sell it to society… I.e Pretending to care about (Health) 🙂

Fuck it,,, lets legalize every thing!!! I mean its healthier then say,,,,,,,,,,World War . ? -_-

  2. oh booo hoo hoo. weed's less harmful because……well you feel literally nothing!. alcohol causes a completely different experience where on the odd occasion you feel anything from weed its over before you know it anyway.

  3. All this bullshit about Marijuana being used as 'a medicine to achieve a higher state of consciousness' is funny lol. Weed is a mind altering drug, and so is alcohol. None of them are actually good for you.. and both are addictive. If you want to achieve higher consciousness or enlightenment why not spend your time reading or attending lectures at University? You can't just light up a joint and have all this knowledge unlocked like so many stoners seem to think. People will rationalize weed as being harmless or even good for you simply because they don't want to stop smoking it. Same with alcohol.. they will make up things like different types of whiskey or wine just to have an excuse to consume it. Who cares if it's 100 years old? It still tastes like shit and the only reason you're drinking it is to get buzzed. You can accomplish so much more in life while sober… not saying you shouldn't smoke or drink, I don't care what you do, just stop spreading lies about how it's 'good for you'. I don't know why so many people take risks with weed especially, when they don't even know what is in the herbs they are smoking or what permanent effects it will have on their mind. No offence, but all the habitual smokers of weed I've met were idiots… I don't know if they took some other drugs as well to get their minds so messed up but that's just my personal experience with potheads.

  4. Why is the push to treat cannabis like alcohol then?   If it is much less harmful then you shouldn't treat as being as harmful as alcohol.  I know we want this legalised as soon as possible but why should people pay a massive tax on a product that does not produce nearly as many health costs as other products?  Hell, cannabis is probably less harmful than food with added sugar or saturated fats.
If cannabis is cheaper people will use that as a substitute for alcohol and that would help bring down health costs.  The research is very clear, we should not have to bend over backwards to get drugs that are objectively less dangerous than currently legal drugs legalised.  If you're definitely in the right you shouldn't need to reach a compromise with the people who are wrong.
Normal sales tax or something very slightly higher should apply to the sale of cannabis.  People shouldn't pay heavy taxes because the government fucked up (partially the fault of a racist/ignorant population too in all honesty) and chose to criminalize drugs based on misinformation and probably a hatred of the kinds of people who used cannabis at the time.

  5. Kids overdosed on the new pot edibles, candy like suckers has killed kids due to potency and irresponsible parents, the new e-pen liquid has done the same

  6. As much as I love weed, you're still inhaling burnt plant matter. These has to be SOMETHING going on there.
I do find it hard to believe that you can inhale ANYTHING without there being something negative to watch out for.

  7. to bad it the info doesnt extist in sweden where a lot of people think that weed is hell hate to live here just becuse people look so hard on weed

  8. Legalisation will not cause the cost of health care to increase, infact quite the opposite will be the case: these costs will decrease dramatically, because less people will be forced by law (either expensive "rehab" or a proper sentence!) into expensive and mostly unnecessary drug-programms etc.
I respect you Americans for being so sensible by legalizing the holy weed! I whish our stubbern politicians…

  9. This makes me very very anxious to call my mother and tell her YOU NEED TO START SMOKIN' WEED IT'LL HELP YOU! lol really man…, the one video i have up, my intro, is all about smokin' weed, i smoke like a chimney and i have no lung problems. i also smoke ciggs so i WILL have lung problems, but i bet the weed is the reason i dont have em already!

  10. I remember reading somewhere about a University research team that did a test on a monkey where they put a gas mask on her face and gave her marijuana smoke along with air. The monkey died after consuming a little over 300 grams(10.5 lb) from lung failure (too much smoke). Although the study was inconclusive they remarked that a human CANNOT die from marijuana overdosing as it would be impossible to continuously smoke 300 g(most people can't even smoke 20 without falling asleep)

  11. "People don't die from marijuana use."

Zero people dying is the correct number if counting acute overdoses only (none of the chemicals in cannabis smoke has known lethal dose). But using that counting rule, the number for alcohol is somewhere south of 1000.

If we looked at acute overdoses alone, we would miss all of the lethality of cigarettes and about 99% of the lethality of alcohol.

The vast majority of alcohol deaths are from chronic health effects, crimes, suicides, and accidents. Cannabis does some lung damage (though, despite the presence of “tar” in cannabis smoke, apparently it doesn’t cause lung cancer); we won’t know until the Boomers get a little bit older how much of that lung disease is fatal, especially in combination with cigarette smoking. A Kaiser Permanente study suggested that heavy pot-smokers had about 1/3 more accidents than otherwise similar people who didn’t smoke, and there’s clearly a non-zero death toll from stoned driving (again, especially in combination with alcohol, but also with cannabis alone).

  12. I have Tourettes and marijuana makes me feel normal. Only problem is that I live in a Florida school zone and it's a minimun of 40 years in prison for one joint here. Thank you for pointing out these facts.Small steps…

  13. I think marijuana can save people from depressive episodes, which could be tremendously beneficial for sufferers, in long term possibilities because its very detrimental to fight through depressive episodes without help, that prolongs a depression sufferer's mood disorders

  14. "Facts given by the government" There's no facts given by the Government that lead to marijuana doomed illegal for the rest of it's existence, you're still fighting a futile fight which I intend to win and laugh at you after. Whenever you're ready to cite a study/link information let me know, it's only been what a week+? Idiot.

  15. I'm not sure how you aren't making the historical between this issue and the issue of the prohibition of ethanol. People could have used everything you say to support that issue, but ultimately they failed even though ethanol is one of the most dangerous drugs ever discovered.

  16. Now even though I don't have any issues if weed is completely legalized or not, and I have nothing against the drug, but I'm going to play devil's advocate a bit here. With all this comparison to alcohol, it gives the impression that people who believe marijuana should be legalized, or at least decriminalized, think alcohol should be made illegal. These are valid arguments that could make that a reality.

  17. Weed is by far the most commonly purchased illegal drug in the US; I mean nothing else even comes close. In fact, if marijuana is legalized, drug crime rates will plummet like nobody has every seen before and most scum bag drug dealers will be forced off the streets. Not to mention all the tax money the government will get from the drug.
